About Me
I'm Faycal B., the artist and curator behind ARTANTICA. My journey with craft and culture runs deep—rooted in my Mediterranean heritage, where I grew up surrounded by the rich visual language of intricate geometric patterns, and the warm, vibrant colors of coastal landscapes.
Travel has shaped everything I create and curate. From exploring the Amazon rainforest and connecting with indigenous artisans to wandering through the historic workshops of Turkey and Italy, each journey has deepened my appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and the stories objects can tell.
My background in art and design, combined with years of hands-on creation—particularly working with clay in my New York studio—has taught me that the most meaningful objects aren't mass-produced. They're made by hand, with intention, by people who honor their craft and pour their cultural knowledge into every piece.
